Invisalign

Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that uses clear, plastic aligners to straighten teeth. The aligners are custom-made to fit the patient’s teeth and are worn for about 22 hours a day, removed only for eating, brushing and flossing.

The treatment process begins with a consultation with our Invisalign-trained practitioner, who will examine the patient’s teeth and create a treatment plan. They will take impressions, x-rays, and photographs of the patient’s teeth, which will be used to create a series of clear aligners.

Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks before being replaced with the next set in the series. Over time, the aligners will gradually move the teeth into their proper position. The length of treatment will depend on the individual case, but typically ranges from 9 to 18 months.

Invisalign is a popular option for people looking to straighten their teeth because it is virtually invisible and can be removed for short periods of time, making it more comfortable and convenient than traditional braces.

Invisalign works well for mild to moderate cases of tooth misalignment and spacing issues, but it may not be the best option for severe cases or complex bite issues.
